Open since 1992 and brought to you by brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg, Blue Ribbon Brasserie still hums with the sound of happy diners. This cozy Soho spot features a multicultural menu— everything from matzoh ball soup to paella to fried chicken— along with impeccable “fruits de mer”. The Blue Ribbon Royale is a towering selection of the freshest oysters, crab, lobster, shrimp, and clams, served with American sturgeon caviar and vodka shots. Open until 4:00 a.M., The restaurant first gained acclaim as a chefs’ hangout—the place where all the top toques chowed when their own kitchens closed. This Soho flagship is the first of eight Bromberg food emporiums. Reservations are available for groups of five or more.
