Taverna Santi glows. Located in northern Sonoma County, in the heart of Alexander Valley, Santi is truly a destination restaurant. Crafted with an artisan hand, some favorite dishes include housemade salumi, young chicken cooked under a brick, spaghettini al sugo, and braised lamb shank. The wine list showcases Californian and Italian varietals, and includes regional favorites as well as hand-picked selections from Italy. Note: Wednesday nights are for “locals” and feature “honest fare at honest prices”. A few doors south is Diavola (Italian for female devil), Santi’s more casual sibling. Look for pizza pies, simple roasts, and other delicious treats you might sell your soul for.
